(Kaieteur News) – The Ministry of Public Works has received four bids from contractors interested in relocating sections of the old Demerara Harbour Bridge to establish the Sandhills to Timehri crossing.
Bids for the relocation project were opened on 30th July at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board.
According to NPTAB, bidders for the project are: BK International Inc. with bid $1,081,757,534; Industrial Fabrication Inc. – $454,564,860; DCSN Construction & General Supplies Inc. – 271,969,800; and Aronco Services Inc. – $1,002,030,216.
