KINGSTON, Jamaica — A family from Gayle, St Mary, is celebrating a $1-million payday after emerging victorious in the inaugural Supligen Big Boost Games, a gruelling 50-hour endurance competition that tested participants’ resilience, teamwork and determination.
Team Phoenix, comprising Monique Brown Ramharrack, 36, her daughter Tanique Dunn, 19, and nephew Rushane Williams, 19, defeated 49 other teams to claim the top prize after the competition began on Thursday evening and concluded on Saturday.
The event required teams of three to maintain continuous physical contact with the iconic Supligen Cup while completing a series of challenges over the course of the 50-hour contest.
