Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has announced that the 2026/2027 national budget will be presented on October 12.
She promised that Government will account for the progress of Trinidad and Tobago’s economy since the United National Congress (UNC) took office.
Persad-Bissessar confirmed the budget date yesterday in response to questions from the Express, saying citizens could expect to hear about the Government’s economic programme and developments across key sectors.
