The Government will be moving at a “rapid pace” when Parliament resumes sittings on Friday, says Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath.

The Express understands the resumption of parliamentary sittings this month will be followed by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar making her first official trip to attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York, which takes place from September 23 to 29.

Padarath is the Leader of Government Business in the House of Representatives and also Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister.
