PRIME Minister Stuart Young said the Government had no intention of firing workers at state-run WASA and TTEC, addressing a women's platform PNM rally at St James on April 23, ahead of Monday's general election.
He spoke minutes after PSA head Felisha Thomas had addressed a UNC Coalition of Interests political rally at St John's Ambulance Hall in Port of Spain.
Young said, "Unfortunately tonight another woman who is a leader of a union saw it fit to try and rebut what I said earlier today when I told the population that we in the People's National Movement are not privatising WASA nor are we getting rid of the workers."
