The Government has no plan to send home 5,000 Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) workers as part of a restructuring plan, Prime Minister Stuart Young stressed yesterday.

And the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) yesterday also denied it was planning to retrench workers.

A video was posted on social media in which Young refuted claims made by Public Services Association (PSA) president Felicia Thomas about WASA workers at a United National Congress (UNC) meeting at the La Joya Sporting Complex, St Joseph, on Wednesday.
