The Caribbean Movement for Peace and integration has called for Queen’s Park to be renamed in honour of late National Hero Sir Garfield Sobers.
General secretary David Denny, in a tribute to Sir Garfield, who passed away on Friday, said it should be renamed the Sir Garfield Sobers Park and his remains buried there so Barbadians and visitors alike can freely visit and pay tribute.
