President of Barbados, His Excellency The Most Honourable Jeffrey Bostic, has joined Barbadians and people around the world in mourning the passing of National Hero and cricket legend The Right Excellent Sir Garfield Sobers.

In a tribute, President Bostic described Sir Garry as “the embodiment of Barbadian excellence, resilience, and grace”, highlighting his impact both on and off the cricket field.
