Flights at the ANR Robinson International Airport experienced temporary delays on Tuesday after smoke was detected inside the Civil Aviation Authority’s control tower.
The fire alarm was activated, prompting the evacuation of personnel from the tower, which is located near the airport terminal.
Fire officials responded and assessed the situation while investigations got underway.
