The Ministry of Education says preliminary reports suggest the seven-year-old primary school student hospitalised after a school incident may have been accidental.
The boy was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital after complaining of abdominal pain and is now in critical condition with a ruptured spleen. His mother said a teacher told her her son was pushed at school, but police said the injuries appear inconsistent with a simple push.
