Police are investigating an incident involving a seven-year-old student of Gasparillo Government Primary School who was hospitalised after reportedly being pushed on school premises.
According to reports, the child was taken to the Casualty Department of the San Fernando General Hospital on Wednesday, with abdominal pain. Upon examination, doctors found that the child was in a critical condition, unconscious, and suffering from a ruptured spleen. He was subsequently transferred to the Intensive Care Unit.
The child’s mother reported that she was notified by her son’s teacher that he had been pushed but but that the teacher was unable to provide further details.
