A Special Reserve Police officer has reported the loss of a loaded magazine containing 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition while off duty in Sangre Grande.
According to a police report, around 4 p.m. on Sunday, the 46-year-old officer visited the Sangre Grande Police Station and reported the missing ammunition. He said he had left his Valencia home earlier that afternoon with his licensed Glock 19 pistol and two magazines, each loaded with 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
He made several stops between Valencia and Sangre Grande, including Doll’s Kitchen, Xtra Foods Supermarket, and Max Grill Foods. It was at the last location that he noticed the magazine and holster, secured at his left rear hip, were missing.
