7 cops held over missing guns, ammo

Seven police officers have been held following the disappearance of three Glock pistols, three magazines, and 45 rounds of 9mm ammunition from the Central Police Station in Port of Spain.

Senior officers confirmed yesterday that two officers were detained late Wednesday as investigations into the missing firearms continued.

The other five were arrested between Wednesday night and yesterday afternoon.
