A 72-year-old Gulf View man was left shaken after three masked intruders ambushed and robbed him at his home on Friday night.
According to police, around 8:15 p.m. the victim had just returned from work and was opening the burglar-proof gate at his residence when three masked men approached him. Before he could enter his home, one of the men, armed with a firearm, announced a robbery.
Police said two of the suspects forced him inside and slammed him to the floor, while all three ransacked the house. The intruders escaped with TT$3,000 in cash, US$1,200, and an FCB bank card.
