A 78-year-old woman was beaten and robbed by a man who entered her home with a cutlass on Sunday.
The pensioner was preparing lunch at her Corial Road, Wlliamsville, home when she spotted a man wearing a red bandana on his head standing at the doorway at around 11.40 am.
Police said the intruder entered the woman’s home and beat her with the cutlass, threatening to kill her.
