(Kaieteur News) – Five relatives were on Friday remanded to prison for the murder of 23-year-old labourer Chittesh Sukhai of Friendship Village, Corentyne, who was fatally chopped on Monday.
Housewife Zynette Baichu, 47; her sons, Mohan “Anil” Narine, 22, and Gowcharran “Terry” Narine, 26, a construction worker; 29-year-old Mahendra “Spoil Pop” Budhram; and 19-year-old Kumar “Aji” Jailall, also a construction worker, appeared at the Whim Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Tuanna Hardy.
The five, all of whom reside at Friendship Village, are accused of murdering Sukhai, also known as “Rohan”, on September 28, 2026, at Friendship Village.
