14-year-old pillion rider dies after motorcycle crashes into horse

(Kaieteur News) – Fourteen-year-old Giresh Lautan is dead after the motorcycle on which he was travelling reportedly crashed into a horse at No. 50 Village, Corentyne, early Saturday morning.
Lautan, a student of Skeldon Line Path Secondary School, was reportedly a pillion rider on the motorcycle, which was being driven by his aunt’s husband, 20-year-old Deon Rodney.
The accident occurred at about 04:00hrs.
