Traffic was brought to a standstill around the Queen’s Park SavanÂnah, Port of Spain, yesterday as members of the protective and emergency services took part in their first parade rehearsal since 2024, in preparation for IndepenÂdence Day.
The rehearsal involved members of the Police Service, Prison Service, Traffic Branch, and cadet organisations, among others.
Sections of the road near the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) were blocked as the participants assembled and marched along the designated route towards President’s House.
