PORT OF SPAIN North/St Ann's West MP Stuart Young said yesterday some constituents have expressed concern as to the impact on residents, including at the Emperor Valley Zoo, of the Government's relocation of the Independence Day parade at the Queen's Park Savannah (QPS).
Young said the shifting of the activities to a location opposite President's House also seemed to indicate the celebrations would be very scaled-down.
The former prime minister was speaking at a news conference at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, in Port of Spain.
