Father of two killed in accident at Coverden

(Kaieteur News) – A 24-year-old father of two died on Wednesday night in an accident at Coverden, East Bank Demerara (EBD), just moments after texting his wife that he was on his way home.
Dead is Christopher Thomas, fondly known as ‘Barn’ of Yarrowkabra Village, Soesdyke-Linden Highway. His pillion rider, a 24-year-old man of Grant Sand Road, Soesdyke, was injured in the crash.
Police said Thomas met with the accident around 21:10 hrs when a van driven by a Chinese national collided with his motorcycle.
