(Kaieteur News) – Arivindra Singh, 35, of Hampshire, Corentyne, was denied bail on Friday in connection with the death of Kildonan Primary School headteacher, Sonia Natasha Williams.
Singh, a father of two, appeared at the Albion Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Tuanna Hardy, where he was charged with causing death by dangerous driving. He is represented by attorney Charlyn Artiga.
The court heard that on September 14, 2026, at Rose Hall Town Public Road, Corentyne, Singh drove motorcar PJJ 7624 in a manner dangerous to the public, thereby causing the death of Williams, 51, of Kilcoy/Chesney Housing Scheme, Corentyne.
