Fire destroys house at Victoria

(Kaieteur News) – The Guyana Fire Service (GFS) has reported that another fire has destroyed a house on the East Coast of Demerara, this time in the community of Victoria on Tuesday night.

The fire service on Wednesday reported that they responded to a fire at Lot 1 Victoria Village.

“Water Tender # 125, Water Carrier # 35 and Ambulance # 25 crew from Mahaica and Melanie Fire Station, along with their respective crews, were dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, firefighters observed the wooden building of one floor was completely engulfed in flames,” the fire service reported.
