A three-bedroom, two-storey house at Farm, East Bank Demerara (EBD), was completely gutted by a fire suspected to be electrical, leaving the owners displaced.
Based on reports received, the fire was detected in the upper flat of the two-storey wooden and concrete building at around 11:00h.
The upper flat was occupied by the owner, Zureen Lewis, and her husband, who were not at home at the time. They reportedly lost everything in the blaze, with nothing being salvaged from the house.
