THE Home Invasion (Self-Defence and Defence of Property) Bill, 2025 was passed after 11 p.m. Friday in the Senate.
Following contributions by 12 Government, Opposition and Independent senators and the wind-up by Attorney General John Jeremie, the bill was considered in Committee and approved without amendment.
The bill was then read a third time and passed, with Friday’s sitting ending at 11.15 p.m.
