Defence Minister Wayne Sturge says the Home Invasion (Self-Defence and Defence of Property) Bill, 2025 helps citizens know exactly what they can and cannot do in the event of a home invasion.

Sturge noted it is difficult for a layman to know what his rights are when faced with a bandit at 2 am in his house.
