A 39-year-old woman was es­cort­ed back to a busi­ness place by se­cu­ri­ty guards who caught her steal­ing mon­ey from a cash reg­is­ter on Fri­day night.

Po­lice said the woman was at a sports bar on Wood­ford Street, Ari­ma, around 7 pm when she walked to the cash reg­is­ter and stole $4,000 be­fore leav­ing.

Se­cu­ri­ty guards saw the in­ci­dent and es­cort­ed her back to the es­tab­lish­ment, where they called the po­lice.
