Police are investigating an armed robbery at a fast food outlet in Freeport on Saturday night.
Reports stated that around 11.15 pm on Friday, a 30-year-old cashier at KFC in St Mary’s Village was conducting sales. Three other people, a 33-year-old security officer, a 34-year-old welder and a 44-year-old engineer, were in the restaurant when two men armed with firearms stormed into the business and announced a hold-up.
The suspects robbed the victims of their phones and almost $2,000 in cash and also grabbed $327 from the cash register.
