Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing an armed rob­bery at a fast food out­let in Freeport on Sat­ur­day night.

Re­ports stat­ed that around 11.15 pm on Fri­day, a 30-year-old cashier at KFC in St Mary’s Vil­lage was con­duct­ing sales. Three oth­er peo­ple, a 33-year-old se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer, a 34-year-old welder and a 44-year-old en­gi­neer, were in the restau­rant when two men armed with firearms stormed in­to the busi­ness and an­nounced a hold-up.

The sus­pects robbed the vic­tims of their phones and al­most $2,000 in cash and al­so grabbed $327 from the cash reg­is­ter.
