Whilst Kaia Sealy has insisted she is not a gangster and has never held a gun in her life, police allege she was armed with a Glock 9mm pistol which was recovered from the vehicle driven by her common-law husband, Joshua Samaroo, in which she was a passenger.

While the public remains in shock over the police disclosure that Sealy is to be charged with manslaughter and that warrants have been issued for her arrest in connection with the police-involved shooting of Samaroo, several questions are being raised in the public domain.

Among them are why Sealy and Samaroo fled from police on January 20, 2026, instead of pulling aside when officers attempted to intercept them, and why police opened fire on the vehicle while Samaroo’s hands were raised in the air.
