A 45-year-old mechanic of Limefruit Road, Freeport, was kidnapped on Friday morning in an incident that ended with two arrests by police.
According to police reports, he was at a fruit shed on Mission Road, Freeport, near Nelson Road, when he became involved in a verbal altercation with three men, two of whom were known to him.
The argument escalated, and the men allegedly forced the victim into a black Toyota Hilux, bound his hands, and took him to a bushy area in Chickland Village, where he was assaulted and threatened.
