Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says Trinidad and Tobago is looking forward to strengthening its long-standing ties and friendship with Venezuela as a high-level Government delegation leaves for Caracas today for talks with officials from T&T’s South American neighbour.

The delegation will be led by Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs Sean Sobers, who will be accompanied by permanent secretary and head of the Foreign Service Randall Karim and acting Foreign Service Officer III and head of the Americas Division Claire de Bourg.
