Venezuelan Foreign Minister Hails ‘New Era’ In T&T Relations

Following high-level talks in Caracas on September 3rd, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia described the visit of Trinidad and Tobago’s Foreign Minister Sean Sobers as the start of a “new era” in bilateral relations.
Taking to social media and in official communications after the meeting, Mr Plasencia expressed strong optimism about the diplomatic engagement.
He said the meeting pointed to the future of diplomacy between T&T and Venezuela, reaffirming their historic friendship.
