An owl rescued after becoming snagged on a chain-link fence in Charuma Village, Biche, on Tuesday morning has suffered extensive injuries and faces a prolonged recovery if it survives, according to a veterinary update shared by El Socorro Wildlife Conservation.
The resident discovered the bird caught on his fence when he got up that morning and contacted the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, led by Captain Vallence Rambharat, for assistance.
Rambharat, Cypriano “Coro” Cova and Vishnu Ramdial responded and safely removed the owl from the fence.
