In a dramatic late-night operation that spanned several hours and involved multiple units of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), officers arrested two suspects believed to be involved in the recent kidnapping of Daniel Kawall.
The suspects were intercepted and arrested around 3a.m. on Sunday morning, near the Queen’s Park Savannah, shortly after they allegedly used Kawall’s bank card to withdraw cash from a Republic Bank ATM on Park Street, Port of Spain.
The coordinated effort was carried out by members of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU), with vital support from the Coastal and Riverine Unit and other tactical teams.
