Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has urged revellers not to do anything to embarrass themselves or their families during the Carnival season.

The Express contacted the Prime Minister yesterday seeking comment on mas band Tribe including a Rose sex toy in the costume bags of masqueraders and the subsequent criticism of the move by Archbishop Charles Jason Gordon on Monday.

Tribe CEO Dean Ackin has said “Carnival is about free­dom, expression, fun and a little mischief, and as pioneers of the modern mas experience, we’re always looking for ways to keep things fresh, playful and memorable.”
