RAPSO artiste Wendell Manwarren has warned of a possible negative impact on Carnival 2026 stemming from the Government’s restrictions on the use of sporting facilities for fetes.
Manwarren suggested that “banning is easier than managing”, as he disagreed with any description of Carnival as “noise”.
In a telephone interview with the Express yesterday, the 3 Canal frontman also reflected on the cultural significance of Carnival and its history, stating that restricting the festival has historically not gone well.
