Police are investigating a break-in at a warehouse in the Barataria Police District, where items valued at approximately $175,000 were stolen.
The proprietor, a 26-year-old businessman of Riverside Shore Lands, Glenco, reported that around 2.30 p.m. he secured the business premises, located on Boundary Road, San Juan, by locking all doors and windows and activating the alarm system before leaving.
When he returned around 9 a.m. the following day, he discovered signs of a break-in. Police were told that a glass door on one side of the building had been broken, burglar-proofing on the other side had been cut, and a door on that side pried open.
