A local bar was targeted by thieves in a brazen overnight break-in that saw over $11,000 worth of liquor, cigarettes, and cash stolen.
The owner of Prim’s First and Last Bar at Golden Grove Road, Tunapuna, reported that she secured her business around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. When she returned at 12:09 p.m. the following day, she discovered the storeroom on the southern side of the bar had been broken into.
Among the stolen items were 192 bottles of White Oak, 192 bottles of Forres Park Puncheon, various bottles of Johnnie Walker and Absolut Vodka, an unknown quantity of cigarettes, and $600 in cash, with a total estimated value of $11,177.
