Bandits used the space for a ventilation fan to access and rob a bakery on Thursday night.
Officers at the Siparia police station were informed that around 7.30 p.m. a worker at Sky Patisserie Bakery secured the property. When she returned around 5.50 a.m. on Friday she saw that it was broken into and ransacked.
A total of $15,000 and a brief case with $3,500 were missing. Officers noted that the point of entry and exit was via a 3x3 ventilation fan area on the western side of the Siparia building.
