A man was knifed to death during an early morning incident at Independence Square on Thursday.

Police said that around 2:15 a.m., officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force, including PC Duke and his team, responded to a wireless report of a disturbance in the area.

On arrival, they found a man lying motionless on the ground, dressed in red short pants and bleeding from multiple injuries.
