CWU eyes ‘Plan B’ after protest halted

Communication Workers Union (CWU) president Joanne Ogeer is questioning the withdrawal of police approval for a planned protest march outside TSTT House at Edward Street, Port of Spain, yesterday.

She said all necessary permissions had previously been granted by police.

Ogeer told TV6 in a voice note yesterday that through her office, all the approvals were sought and approved by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service prior to the day of the protest.
