Galleons Passage Departs With Relief Supplies For Venezuela

The Galleons Passage is leaving Trinidad and Tobago tonight to take aid to Venezuela.

The South American country continues to reel after twin earthquakes on June 24th left parts of the country in ruins.

Speaking after the 51st CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in St Lucia on Wednesday, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said one of the ferries used for the inter-island route will be sent to Venezuela filled with aid parcels.
