An 80-year-old man was able to call for the help of poÂlice ofÂfiÂcers at a gas staÂtion, afÂter beÂing beatÂen and kidÂnapped by his landÂlord on WednesÂday afÂterÂnoon.
PoÂlice said the elÂderÂly man was at his El SoÂcorÂro apartÂment at around 1.30 pm when he was conÂfrontÂed by the landÂlord who he said beÂgan “haÂrassÂing him.”
An arÂguÂment beÂgan as the landÂlord then beat the vicÂtim with a woodÂen broom hanÂdle.
