The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) has assured the public that the national electricity grid remains stable following a significant voltage dip that affected parts of the country on Tuesday night.
In a statement yesterday, T&TEC said the disturbance occurred at approximately 9.15 p.m. during intense lightning activity over Central Trinidad.
According to the commission, two circuits linking the Brechin Castle and Debe 132-kilovolt substations tripped during the adverse weather conditions.
