A brief power outage affected several areas across Trinidad after a generation unit tripped yesterday afternoon.
Responding to questions from Guardian Media, Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath said he received information that TGU 11, producing 80 megawatts, tripped at 3.27 pm yesterday.
He explained that the under-frequency scheme shed 13 feeders across various parts of the island.
