A call has been made for the return of colonial-era artefacts unearthed on the site of the Lopinot Historical Complex.
The call came from Curator and CEO of the Lopinot Tourism Association, Donna Mora, and historian and co-director of the Caribbean Freedom Project, Claudius Fergus.
They claimed that a North American-based archaeologist, who dug up the artefacts on the estate, took them to Canada where he resides.
