Residents of Curepe caught a suspected thief in the act early Thursday morning, tied him up, and transported him to the St Joseph Police Station using a wheelbarrow.
The man, believed to be in his mid-40s, was spotted around 5 a.m. carrying two vehicle amplifiers he had reportedly stolen from a local garage. Residents who were out early noticed the man struggling with a bag containing the items and confronted him.
When questioned, the suspect initially failed to respond, but after further questioning, he admitted to stealing the amplifiers. The residents then restrained his hands and feet before placing him in a wheelbarrow and taking him to the police.
