A late-night intelligence-led operation at the Maximum Security Prison has led to the arrest of three men and the recovery of drugs, electronic devices, and other contraband believed to be destined for inmates.
The exercise, which ran from 8:30 p.m. on Sunday to 4:30 a.m. Monday, was coordinated by Cpl. Williams of the DCP Operations Unit, working alongside Cpl. Campbell and members of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), PC Edwards of the MOPS team, and WPC Marcilin of the CSI unit. The operation was supported by ASP Lee Davis of the Prison Service.
The three arrested were identified as a 25-year-old, of Malick, Morvant; a 40-year-old, of Santa Cruz; and Keevan Springer, and a 27-year-old of D’Abadie.
