A 13-year-old boy was one of two suspects arrested during a joint national security operation that disrupted an attempt to smuggle contraband into the Arouca Maximum Security Prison using a drone on Friday.

This is the second time in days that a drone drop has been foiled by an operation.

Between September 28 and 29, a co-ordinated operation was executed in the vicinity of the MSP.
