Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has instructed Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo to get to work on Monday and find out how much money there is in the treasury.
Following the swearing-in of members of her Government at President’s House, Port of Spain, yesterday, Persad-Bissessar delivered an address outlining some priority areas that her ministers have been instructed to immediately get to work on.
“We now have a Government in place in Trinidad and Tobago, and the first order of business is boots on the ground and get to work. We have a lot of work to do!” she said after all her ministers and parliamentary secretaries were sworn in by President Christine Kangaloo.
