A 37-year-old vendor was shot dead during a violent home invasion at his family’s residence in Chaguanas early yesterday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Arnold Singh of Petersfield Main Road, Chaguanas.

Police said around 4.30 a.m., Singh was at home with relatives when two armed men forced their way into the house through the front door.
